Michelle and I have been using Zidisha for over two years to lend money to entrepreneurs from all over the world.

Just a bit of capital to invest in a business or education can double or triple a disadvantaged entrepreneur's income - providing a sustainable livelihood for their family and securing better education for their children.

So far we lent over $600 to 60 entrepreneurs and 99% of them paid us back on time.

That's why I decided to dedicate my birthday this year. Instead of gifts, I'm accepting donations on behalf of Zidisha, a registered nonprofit that facilitates microloans in the world's poorest places.

100% of your donation will go straight to the entrepreneurs, and you'll receive an update on how the funds were spent. Best of all, when the loans are repaid they will be relent again and again to fund new loan projects - truly a gift that keeps on giving!
