I made a repayment on 01 June 2021 of the current loan i have through mtn mobile money, my mobile account was deducted, but am surprised that the money has not been credited to my Zidisha account, i followed up with MTN and am yet to receive feedback
Hi Francis, you may not have received the announcement that we have changed payment services because payments via MTN have become unreliable. Payments should now be made using the Pay button in your account dashboard, which will take you to a payment page in your browser that will allow you to make payments via MTN or another mobile money.
If you made the payment via the old MTN method and it was not credited, we recommend contacting MTN customer support and asking them to refund your payment. Please let us know if you have any difficulty in securing a refund.
Good day Julia, I don't think there is much progress being made toward resolving this issue, if there is any way you can come in to resolve this issue with MTN Mobile, then Ill greatly appreciate. I have attached screenshots of my conversation with the agent who assured me that the issue is being resolved
Hi Francis, I'm sorry again for the trouble. This is why we switched payment services some time ago and asked our members not to try making payments via the old method. If you are having trouble getting a refund, please use your Help screen to let us know the payment date and transaction ID and we will follow up with MTN to secure your refund as well.
Going forward, please make all payments using the Pay button in your dashboard and not directly via MTN.
