The last amount is correct. Please read the FAQ:
Further to the useful link Joost provided, I see in October you were able to create a loan application for 1,605 KES, but it was soon expired. Checking the support tickets, it looks like your account was declined at that time and has since been reactivated. Whether that influenced the fact you can only apply for 6 KES now I don't know, but we're regularly working on algorithms for assessing first-time borrowers' trustworthiness and calculating their credit limits, and I think there was also a technical problem around October that briefly gave some people too high a credit limit.
As the FAQs say, all borrowers need to build up trustworthiness before being able to apply for larger loans.
Am Dorcas Achieng when I first applied for my first I was given 5,181KES which means that this was my loan limit but I was informed that I was to be increased to 7,800KES but when I default for one week and trying to apply am being given only 1,300KES which am not willing to take because I see it as very unfair to me, Even if I defaulted it could reduce to 5,181KES.
Please help and thanks in advace as you consider my case and predicament .
Credit limits for repeat loans are equal to the largest amount that's been repaid on-time, if no increase has been earned. (When no amount has been repaid on-time, the credit limit is set to equal the credit limit currently offered to first-time borrowers.)
However, checking your account, it shows the amount repaid on-time from your first loan was 2,181 KES, so I've left a message asking why you can only apply for 1,300. I'll let you know when I've heard back.
