I do not approve of Mukabwa's tone but I understand how frustrating it feels sometimes after trying twice only for the proposal to expire.

Darius? A loan can be funded fully, even with 30 minutes left to expire.

Am not judging Darius because there's a bit of truth from what he says . I will just encourage him to see the information on the page as a system generated message when Zidisha is experiencing normalcy. Its not not anyone's fault or the management fault that you are being asked to invite new member. Like me this is my 7th to 8th time expiring but am not loosing hope. Just know lenders are humans and there's no well defined criteria in which the choose loans. Time and chance will tell. I have seen even those people who are asking for big amounts like $470 with moderately good repayment such as 70% getting funded. I urge you not to make Zidisha a priority for now and look for other means or alternatives. Am sorry you are experiencing this welcome to the club and please don't loose hope it will all pass one day.

Darius Hi, I understand your frustrations but you should remember that Zidisha is not a bank. This is a platform of bringing lenders and borrower with Zidisha acting only as a link. Furthermore, our Director has communicated to us about the challenges so we need to be patient because it ought not to be permanent. Regarding the invites, its not a must to invite anyone. So, relax and be patient.

Darius please lower your tone and remember sometimes loans are funded depending on your loan proposal. Please make it more appealing to the lenders and be patient. Wish you all the best Darius!!!!

Well well well. I have only one day left for my loan to expire while still at the staff review stage. The battle is indeed the Lord. Zidisha staffs should please fasten the review process for my loan to be publish and funded by my noble lenders please.

      Hello George.
Sorry, with the waiting list being scrapped it's resulted in a lot of loans pending approval again at the moment, particularly in Ghana.
Out of interest, was your loan previously on the waiting list?

    Thanks Fitri.
And George, as I've just posted in another topic:

Sorry, it looks as though the lack of funding time is related to the waiting list being scrapped at the beginning of this week, and the problem being that loans on the waiting list had 30 days to expire but when the waiting list was scrapped it changed back to the normal 14 days for repeat borrowers.
It's also resulted in a lot of loans pending approval this week, although we're now within the 3 business days (in which we aim to review them) for all countries except Ghana.
Sorry about the problems, and hopefully there won't be that issue in future.

Sorry George, we can't alter loan expiry dates like that.
If your loan isn't fully funded you'd at least get the option to accept the funds that were raised though, and it wouldn't affect your credit limit.

    Hello Isaac.
Yes, I hope we can soon get back inside the 3 business days for Ghana as well.
Different people work on different teams, but we've now got a volunteer whose main task is reviewing loan applications.
