Forum > Borrower Questions > Deposit refund
Hi,zidisha team ,,happy for your support .my business has grown well.l ceased to be a member and request a refund of 13000ksh.Thanks as you consider my refund.Regards Dorcas Nene.
Dorcas, please send us a support ticket, and in the support ticket include a readable copy of your ID card and also a recognisable photo of you holding the still readable ID card. Thanks.
So Dave, anyone who ask MLF have to send 2 picture.
1. Readable copy of ID card
2. A recognisable photo of borrower holding readible ID card.
Or the borrowers have to edit 2 of it in one picture?
I only know that we can only attach one picture on our ticket. Is it exceptional on MLF refund ticket? Or does the technical team have manage to allow borrowers attach more then one picture on their ticket?

i hope you're doing well,
am just concern about the matter raised by the borrower in regards to MLF refund could the zidisha team find out why and reason why ? members are withdrawing their mlf at this time,
i have seen a number of complains in the forum column concerning the funding delays/ loan expires, or not funded! which might be the course of all this.
then we see how this matter can be addressed on the platform for abetter futures,
I'm fine, I hope you are fine too, thanks for asking.
You already answer your own question there.
Each borrowers who asked MLF refund have their own reason. Like few weeks ago I think there were a member who asked MLF refund for his wife labour as his loan not fully funded as his prediction/hope and Dave already assist him.
Some of it ask their MLF as their account got closed by zidisha.
I'm sure you have read Director announcement so you can guess about it.
We should not shy away from the truth or bury our heads in the sand. There's a reason why borrowers are losing hope of ever raising funds at Zidisha is at the moment.
The problem may have been occasioned by either the borrowers not fulfilling their obligations or the management at Zidisha or both. This, in turn, has had a negative effect on the number of lenders willing to fund projects.
Am not sure if this will be published but it is good that we highlight some of the issues.
I would kindly urge the Zidisha staff/volunteers like Joosh, Laurie, Dave etc.....to send a true perspective to the Director - Julia Kurnia of what is happening.
Yes, now anyone wanting an MLF refund needs to send in both a readable copy of their ID card and also a recognisable photo of themselves holding the still readable ID card. This was a fairly recent change.
If it's not possible to attach both images in one message, it's fine to reply again (in the same support ticket) to attach the second image.
I see. More easier to reply the MLF ticket so the picture in good and clear then.
Thanks a lot Dave.
Dave can you please answer 2 of question from Indonesian forum. One of it wanna cancel her loan that disburse on December. She wrongly or didn't understand very well about MLF. I don't know does the cancel button still in her dashbord and can she cancel it as it's already 2 month.
I've just looked at recent posts in the Indonesian forum but didn't find the query you're talking about. Have you got a link to the thread, or a link to one of her pages here?
I'm sorry, I thought you already offline so I try to answer her thread. Thanks Dave
Samwel and John, two main reasons for the problems in funding some loan applications in recent months have been mentioned by Julia in the Announcements area.
Firstly, the increase in loan applications (www.zidisha.org/forum-threa...)
Secondly, a technical problem with Zidisha-managed lending accounts (www.zidisha.org/forum-threa...)
Thankfully those lending accounts should very soon return to a positive balance, and also, in the past week it's been announced that borrowers can now accept partially funded loans and the fundraising period now only starts after the staff review, if applicable.
I'm sure these are positive things, so hopefully it'll lead to a greater number of happier borrowers and lenders, and of course we're always looking at ways to improve that further!
Am very happy for the good work you are doing Dave2319 at Zidisha, you don't get angry with borrowers by rubbishing their ideas and you politely reply and give positive assurance.
I welcome the new move of having the fundraising period starts after the review, this is honestly very important for borrowers and lenders alike.
You and Laurie are an asset to Zidisha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
