Last year when I was making repayment they reflected on my account almost immediately. But this year this is very stressful as i have been making payment and they took 2-3 days to reflect. This to nice more so when one is tracking his/her payment. I have made two payments of which am going for a 3 day now and they haven't reflected my account. I don't know if the amount reached zidisha or not . Its disturbing and yet this wasn't an issue last year. What happened with zidisha payment system? It should be improving not deteriorating. We shouldn't be complaining now and again please Zidisha team. Please Zidisha team amend this. You the people we depend on to build our economy.

Hi, Jared. Of course, we hear you. However, to understand more about how Zidisha currently works, and why it's currently this way, please read:
(It's long; however, it answers a lot of what many borrowers often have asked.) ;-)
For your particular question, scroll down to the paragraph that begins with: "Operating costs are kept low..."
Please read at least that paragraph & the two paragraphs after it. Thanks. ;-)
P.S.: The procedure now is that the borrower needs to wait until after at least three (3) business days for a payment to reflect on the Zidisha website before sending in a Support Ticket. (Business days are Monday through Friday, in the U.S.A. Eastern Time-Zone.)
After that amount of time has passed, then the borrower should send all of the payment details in on a Support Ticket. Borrowers never should post those details in the Forum, or on the Discussion page on his/her profile. (It's fine, however, to mention *only* the date & amount paid on the Discussion page, to let the borrower's lenders know that the payment has been made.)
The current response time after sending in a Support Ticket also is three (3) business days, but could take longer when we are short-staffed, which we currently are.
Please keep in mind that we have well over 200,000 borrowers, and currently only about 25 very part-time volunteers on Staff. That number is further subdivided into small teams, according to borrower country and function.
Not every staff member is on every team, not every staff member works here every day, and most staff members work only two or three hours on their chosen days.
Thank you, in advance, for your understanding and patience.
