Hi Sierra, Thank you for supporting borrower in Zidisha. I thinks it's technical issue. Because there are a lot of technical issues in zidisha website right now. A lot of borrower payment hasn't credited or their payment which has credited suddenly gone. Just yesterday a lot of borrower from Indonesia shared information that they were unable to pay their loan because the number of their virtual account undetected/wrong number.
I hope zidisha will help you soon. Thanks

    Hello Sierra.
I see another lender had the same query recently and they sent us an email. Below is what Julia said in reply, and I've changed the numbers so they refer to the loan you were talking about.

"The difference is due to the fact that in this case the loan's local currency amount was rounded up to the nearest whole dollar amount when the loan was raised, and the repayment amount is always rounded to the nearest cent when the loan is repaid. The dollar amount that was disbursed and repaid is $2.33, and this was rounded up to $3 when funding the loan.

In other cases (about half the time), amounts are rounded down to the nearest dollar when funding the loan, resulting in lenders receiving more from repayments than they had lent.
I hope this makes sense. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any further questions."

How can I stop the automatic " relending " process. I would like to make a decision ,about who I want to give my money to.

    Hello Ilona.
Across the top of the page you can see your username. Click on that and select Relending Preferences.
Then you can choose "Keep repayments in my account until" the date shown, and scroll down and save the changes.

Hillary, sorry, we're not meant to allow requests for loans to be funded, otherwise the forum would be full of them.

Mutua, this section of the forum is for lenders to post questions.
See Julia's post here though, regarding loan funding: www.zidisha.org/forum-threa...

Before taking out a large loan, you must first build creditworthiness by repaying small test loans over a period of time.

More info about this can be found on the Borrowers FAQ: www.zidisha.org/faq#borrowe...
