Forum > Lender Questions > How does a loan expire when it's 100% funded?
The money was returned to me as an expired loan, yet it shows as 100% funded. What would cause this?
1. When a borrower loan get funded 100%. They have till the last day of loan fundraising to accept the loan. If they don't accept it till the last day, the loan will be expired and zidisha sending back the money to the lenders.
2. When borrower accept the loan, they have a week time to get the money, (last times I Knew is a week time). Sometimes there were troubles when zidisha try to disburse the loan, such as wrong MTN number/ MTN non active, Trouble with the service provider in the borrower place that made zidisha take more then a week to disburse the loan.
In order not to reduce my respect how we can see the right forum to answer, because technically the lender of the borrower must be different.and I include you are the LENDER.to avoid mistakes give answers, not me doubt you.

Okay, thank you. I will relend the money. Didn't want to do so if it was just a glitch.
Very good heart sister Julie
I've checked his account, and his dashboard's asking him to upload a copy of his ID. This is a new security measure we've recently added where ID verification's now required when a borrower's credit limit reaches a certain amount.
His loan is still 'Open' so I don't think the funds should have been returned. I've therefore asked our Technical Team to look into this. Thanks for letting us know.
Good job done Dave. Keep it up
They looked into it but said the transaction history doesn't show any return of funds to you from that loan.
Nice of you Dave2319
I think Zidisha need more technical people to help the system so that all will be well any thanks to the technician for their effort keep it up and improve more.
Dave2319 my problem is that my first loan got expired and I propose another one is left with 9days to expire but still not funded )0%.I am a vm too since 2016 with a 100% repayment record.I don't know why my loan is not funded.my loan proposal is not even at the project list
Thank you very much for the hard work done by the Zidisha team.

Dear All Lender(s).
Merry Chrismast and Happy New Year
Thank you very much my lenders, I am very excited on how you handle situations, but I may like to advice you that, concern with those people who repay their loan on time, they should be the first one to be lended the money.
Honestly Dave has been very instrumental only that my case was very challenging but I had accepted and is moving toward.
Thanks brother Dave
Satisfactory answer, thanks all for informing Julie
Very good, the organization are really trying, thanks to lenders as well. Kindly I would like to request a that in the event that loan expires not fully funded, i suggest that the already percentage of amount that has been sent should be given or sent to the borrower instead of starting a fresh, at least to start him or her off the project.
That has recently made possible.
A borrower is now able to accept a partially funded loan.
