When I first started working with Zidisha, there were options to make loans to people in the Americas and South-East Asia. These days, all I see are borrowers from Nigeria, Ghana, Zambia and Kenya.
Was there a change in policy? How are the people in these other regions being served now?

I know some problem problem cropped with the way loans were being handled for borrowers in Indonesia a few months back. Since then, there have not been any new loans to borrowers in Indonesia.
Don't know if there were such issues for other countries too.

There also were five Francophone countries served, too. However, some time ago, the Director found that the money-transfer partners (Ecobank branches) for four of those (Burkina Faso, Guinea, Niger, and Senegal) weren't viable for Zidisha, any longer. Despite trying for a long time for those countries, she hasn't been able to find a replacement money-transfer partner that would be compatible with Zidisha's newer requirements. Therefore, unfortunately it's been a while since Zidisha has been able to serve borrowers in those four Francophone countries.

I heard it unfortunately eventually was a similar situation
with the money-transfer partner (LajanCash) for Haiti, too.
I don't know what happened with Mexico, though,
for which the money-transfer partner was Bitcoin.
Maybe something similar happened with that system, too... idk.
