Hi Madam Julia,
I have just a concern of some volunteer mentors I hope you take note of some volunteer mentors of what they doing they are reviewing loans at whatever time they feel like doing it which so annoying to Zidisha members they take it for granted please look at this carefully because they will make Zidisha seem to bad while it's not. And according to my holy observation some mentors have jerlous of their friends loans as the result they take long to review the loans and even not reviewing it.

Titus,as the name goes,we are Volunteers, mentorship on Zidisha is not our full time job,if a VM does not reach you on time going by your calculation, the reason which you may not be privy to,call the VM yourself. You will be assigned to a new VM after three days.
As for jealousy, nobody absolutely should do that on Zidisha because as you remain a good team player on Zidisha, your loan will grow.

Dear Zidisha Staff, indeed i agree with the opinion of Mr Titus Kauseni, i would like to urge Zidisha staff to begin to observe Volunteer mentors and the turn of execution when it comes to reviewing the members loans assigned to them.
Indeed it is very frustrating to note that some Volunteer mentors would want to wait until the mentee gives them the call to remind them to review the loan. This should not be condoned please, i would rather the Volunteers exhibit professionalism according to the Zidisha policy.
It is written to say that to become a Volunteer mentor it must be an individual who is a regular user of internet or Email. If a Volunteer mentor cant create time or provide time to check their dashboard periodically it will be very difficult to review the members loans, I think this is were Mr Kuaseni is referring to no wonder other members are saying people are pressuring them because simply they do not have the time to review the loans on time.
Please Director, observe the reviewing process of the loans, how many days should it take for a member's loan fully funded should be reviewed by the Volunteer Mentor? What matters here is the one whose loan is suppose to be disbursed than the one reviewing it.
This is the concern Mr Kauseni i feel is trying to explain to every one.I suggest Director give a time frame at which a Volunteer mentor should be able to review the member's loans. It should take the members to call them and review the loans such Volunteer mentors are not suitable to save the people they cause the name of Zidisha to come in disrupt.
Those that are busy with there business or work and do not have the time, please have the loans assigned to the mentor that is readily available to avoid delaying loans to be reviewed.I stand to be corrected if what am saying in agreement with what Mr Kauseni is trying to digest on this page.Thank you so much and God bless you all.

Hi Faustina, it is unfortunate for most of us mentors to wait for a member to call after to review a loan application. Let's be reminded that it's not only volunteers who are at fault but both the borrowers and the volunteers as well. What will you say if a mentor have been calling a borrower for almost three hours without answering? Zidisha has a time frame of up to three days for a volunteer mentor to review a loan and it is not something bad to call a volunteer mentor for review. I think both of us are all at fault. Moresoever, volunteers must uphold to, to have enough time to always check on their dashboard and emails for reviewI also stand to be corrected
