About Me

My name is Leah Maina. I am married and am a mother of two sons. I live in Kisumu city, specifically Nyalenda B

My Business

I do dressmaking and tailoring as my main source of income. I deal with custom made and recently, i added ready to wear outfits to the business. I got a supplier for fabrics in Nairobi. He sells in wholesale and also sends me the fabrics as a parcel all the way to Kisumu. This way, am able to make more peofits.

Project Proposal

These funds will go a long way in my next project. I have a small space of land that is lying farrow. I plan to utilise that space by planting indigenous vegetables for sale and also for my family's consumption. Kshs. 2000 will be used to prepare the land by clearing bushes and digging, 1500 shillings will be used to buy various types of vegetable seeds enough for that space. Another 1500 shillings will be used to pay my helper during planting. The rest of the money will be used during first weeding. If i take advantage of this rainy season the vegetables should be ready for sale in four weeks time.
