I am a retired contractor from the U.S Homeland Security Agency. I've traveled the world and seen many of the planets beauties and some of it's abject poverty. True, there are far too many of us for 'Gaia' to support with opportunity and we're doing damage to here on a global scale. Only she knows when her patience will wear thin!
All that said, the well off need to help those who, by simply being born in a place where opportunity is hard to come by; I hope to make a small contribution to that end...
