About Me

I was born in 1970 in a remote area of Eastern province - Kenya. My parents are not educated and poor. Life was difficult due to low income. My father was a peasant farmer with few goats which we depended on for selling to buy food when rains failed. My life through education was laden with problems and many times I found myself spending the whole day in school without even having eaten something since morning. Through thick and thin I managed to sit for secondary school exam (KCSE) attaining grade C which qualified me for Diploma Course in university but I had to drop because there was no school fees. Meanwhile I persued reading and learning music on my own and church organised workshops. I depend on skill I attained in my business of training school choirs, church choirs, individuals and music production studio.

My Business

I started training music when I was in high school. I trained church choirs who paid me money which mostly to helping me pay my school fees and assist my parents too. As time went on I learnt how to record and produce music in a studio, operate public sound equipment, music video editing, training how to play piano in a musical performance, adjudicate in music competitions. I run a service based business whereby I hire public sound equipment to local users, train music on contractual basis, produce music to clients. My future plans is to purchase modern music production machines, establish a music school for local youth to nurture their talents, buy public address equipment to suit the changing times.

Loan Proposal

I will buy dry cells for piano keyboards as power back up when I go to train a client in a area without electricity. My family who depend on my business will live a better life, members of the community will have their sons and daughters equipped with skills to help them work and enable better living to their families. Good singing in church attracts many people who through word of God are transformed to better their behaviors hence eradicating crime in our local areas.
