About Me
Hello! My name is Aloysius. I am 25 year old from Indonesia. Currently, I live in Bekasi, West Java province with my parents and brothers.
Since I was 5, dancing has been my great passion. I always dream to become a professional dancer and teach youngsters. Unfortunately, I never had a chance to go through any proper education or course in dance when I was young, but always persistently trained myself hard all by myself. When I was in high school, I established my own dance community and managed to collect more than 100 achievements through dance competitions ranging from local to national levels that made me get scholarship to continue my dance education in Singapore. After 3 years of study, I came back to Indonesia to share my knowledge and experiences. I personally feel that dance has changed my life so much. I learn to be tough, persistent, optimistic, hardworking and not every teenager in Indonesia know how to incorporate these precious values to their life through dancing. My mission is to educate and train young people who have the same passion in dance to learn a lot of positive life values such as: leadership, teamwork, positive thinking, determination, problem solving, etc through dance as a fun and interesting way. It's my passion to encourage and motivate young people to appreciate their time by doing something positive using their talents rather than wasting time doing something useless.
My Business
Through the community that I have been established since high school, I expand my mission by providing a place for young people where I can teach them all my knowledge that I have experienced overseas. Since it is not a dance school or studio (because I do not work commercially. I teach people voluntarily), sometimes it is hard for me to pay rental fee and all its expenses. My community is having more members day by day but does not have enough place to rehearse and train our skills yet every year the rental fee is getting more expensive than I expect.
Since I am not qualified enough to borrow money from bank, through Zidisha, I hope that I can find someone who is willing to help me lending money so that I can pay my rental fee and provide them a deserve place to learn dance, to teach and share my positive dance values. It is a pity to see that there is not enough appreciation for dancers here, so I kind of hard to find sponsors that can help me and my community to grow and survive. Also, not every member in my community comes from quite wealthy family. To me dance is for everybody even if you come from a poor family.
For additional information, I have several dance crews that always join competitions every month. They are trained to dance well and also good in personality. By winning several dance competitions every month, we will use the money prize to pay back money that we borrow from Zidisha. We have won hundreds of achievements and very optimistic to win with our determination and dedication. We will work hard for it.

Loan Proposal
First of all, I would like to once again thank Zidisha and all lenders who have been helping and supporting me in my previous projects. I really appreciate everything that you all have done. May happiness and prosperity always be with you all.
It has been 3 years since I established my community. More members, more achievements, more challenges and struggles and those have taught us a lot to always believe in our dreams and keep optimistic and positive, no give up and stay strong trying, be sincere to always help others and motivate local youth with good heart and positive mind set.
Since it is our fourth year having the same place to rehearse and do most of our training, I would like to use the loan to help my community adding some extra money to pay our annual studio rental fee this year. The annual rental fee for 2015 is approximately USD 3000 and the due date is coming very soon. So far, we have collected around USD 1500. We have been collecting some through money prizes that we have got during winning competitions and championships but it is still not fully covered yet. We also plan to do some garage sales and other funding activities through selling foods. The reason why we intend to keep using the same place is because of its strategic locations that can be reached by most of our members. Also, it is quite convenient in terms of space, security, and environment to rehearse and do our other training activities. In my area, a lot of local youth are not coming from wealthy families. So by keep renting the same place, we hope that it can benefit those youth groups around our area more who want to channel their talents in dance more effectively but do not have enough facilities or financial abilities to do so. Because my priority is dedication, their success is my motivation to me. Your support and help definitely bring happiness and encouragement for all of them.
