Williams Owusu-Acheaw is my name. I am a Ghanaian young man with thirty-six years of age. I am dark in complexion. I come from a family of nine siblings together with my parents.
I am a graduate who studied nutrition and currently I am a nutritionist at Berekum Municipality of Brong Ahafo Region in the Republic of Ghana. I attended Berekum Senior High school for my Senior High Certificate. After which I attended Atebubu College of Education after which I taught for nine years and left for University Education at the University of Education Winneba where I obtained my current certification in nutrition. I am now a Health worker who guides and renders nutritional advice to both patients and people in the community. I take delight in my job because it aims at saving lives.
Apart from my profession as a health worker, I am now into selling of soya beans powder morringa powder and other nutritional food supplements which give the required nutrients to my customers especially malnourished children. My hobbies are reading, working in children’s homes and playing football.
I started my business of selling nutritional supplements with a base capital of 600 dollars. Base on my studies at the University, I found out that malnutrition is a major challenge to Ghana and for that matter Africa in general. I started my business with just some few sachets of soya beans powder in the year 2013.People soon fell in love with my products when they saw the effectiveness of my productsThe demand for the products increased to about 250%.The demand prompted me to produce more to meet the demands of my customers.
The production of the cereals and leguminous plants which are processed into my products come with a cost since more hands need to be employed.
My business is a profit making venture which brings returns. The business is not only for making profits but to cure the sickness of malnutrition and other related diseases
This my second loan will help me a lot to improve upon my business of producing food supplement for the malnourished especially children in my community.I will use the 200 dollar loan to buy more materials which go into production of my products.
I look forward to making a return profit of about 70-85% on this loan.
This will help my produce more to meet the demands of my customers.
