About Me

My name is Amy Diagne and I have a son and daughter who both go to school. I am 32 years old. I left school after 9th grade to marry and support my family because I am the oldest.

My Business

I am a saleswoman selling different types of products depending on the demands of the women in the village. I typically sell mass produced products like cosmetics, clothes, kitchen appliances that are highly demanded by the villagers and other products that are only sold in the cities. At the same time, I also buy agricultural and forest products cultivated by the villagers and resell them to my customers in the city. It’s been 8 years since I’ve been working in this field, and it is with these earnings that I feed my family and support my parents.
I have already received loans from numerous lenders. The first time, the loan came from a tontine (a neighborhood communal lending system), where I received a loan of 300 000 CFA on March 5th, 2007. I repaid it in 10 monthly repayments in January 2008, without ever any delays. After that, I received a 500 000 CFA loan from Mecprotes in April 2008 and I repayed it in January 2009, even though I had 14 months to repay it. These transactions can all be verified because these associations are all based in our neighborhood of Grand Yoff.

Loan Proposal

I would to use this loan to expand my business. It will help me open a boutique to sell my cosmetic products and other products that women need. This loan will allow me to increase my capacity to sell more products and meet my clients’ demands.

About Me

My Business
