My names are Miss Pearl Kerubo Onderi,am 25 years old and a single mum of a lovely 3year old daughter named Chloe Sabina Onderi.I was born and raised in Nyabururu village in Kisii county to a family of 4 children and am a second born.I attended St Marys girls primary school Nyabururu for my primary education then joined St Francis girls high school Kiptere for my O level.I joined Moi University Eldoret in 2008 to pursue a law degree but i had to deffer my studies for insufficient funds to pay my tution fee.
I started my fast food business in May 2013 because basically i have a passion for food and there was no one else providing food to the many students and single working class adults.I also i wanted to carter for my daughter,my mum who is ailing back at home and to make enough money to complete my studies so i can be a lawyer.
Am seeking for a loan to invest in my already established fast food business.I own a a fast food cafe and offer fast food, fruits and juice to a big range of customers around or near the village i live in.
I noticed there was demand for food especially ''ready to go'' food in the village i live at.There are many campus students and young working class adults yet there was no one providing fast food or catering services. My customers prefer my food service since the food is of the best quality and fair pricing.I also observe professionalism at offering my service and also offer door to door food services.
My typical business costs are 23000 kenya shillings which includes electricity and water bill.My sales revenue each month is 48000 and my profit ranges between 25000 to 30000 each month. The business is profitable since the raw materials need like vegetable, fruits and cereals are very available and an affordable price.
If i receive the loan i plan to use it to buy more chairs and tables for my cafe,an oven,a deep frier and a commercial fruit dispenser because as it is now am working without this essential kitchen electronics and i know i will serve many customers and in return increase my profit margin.I plan to pay in monthly installments on a 10% profit on reducing balance.
I hope am considered.
Am requesting for a loan of Kenya shillings 4349 to purchase a blender for my business.
The blender will really come in handy especially because in my cafe I deal with fast foods and serve drinks too.I sell sodas and bottled juices which most of my customers who are students claim to be either too expensive or too sugary.
I want to start making fresh fruit juices, like mango juice, passion fruit juice, pineapple juice and mixed fruit juice and serve them at affordable prices. This is attainable on my part since fruits are easily available here and at very low prices.
The blender model I have in mind is worth Kenya shillings 8000 so with my little savings and the loan I will be able to buy it.
I know for sure with the extra earnings from the juices I will be able to save and invest the savings back into my business and also offer my child a better life.
I sincerely hope you will fund my loan and help me expand my business.
