About Me

My names are lucy wairimu born and raised in the rifty valley Nakuru county, i went to kipgaa primary school and kipsalat mixed secondary school after that joined nakuru teachers college and later was posted to salgaa primary to work as a teacher this was mid 90 s.
My father and mother are both farmers planting potatoes for sell.
Life after college was very hard i did not get employment and used to acompany my parents to do farming so at least to make some money for raising needs.
I was later was employed at salgaa primary school were i worked for 6 years i want my children to be discipline and hardworking for that reason i have to emback on farming as a secondary source of income, my children gives me a reson to work hard,
I love teaching and reading so much am also in much love of pets.

My Business

As stated early am a teacher i also decided to venture into farming were i have a small farm that i give my attension after a busy day educating ladies of my community,
last year i got a part time a job at a non government institution known as NOPE aiming at educating women on Hiv and aids aweareness, My work is to hold meeting with women and educate them on HIV and AIDS, Its many years since the out break of this disease and many people in our rural community lack educatiuon on how to prevent the spreed of the disesase , we end up lossing our loved once due to ignorance.This job is good as i like doing it and work on wednesdays afternoon and saturdays this gives me the time to be in school on weekdays.
I am paid a small amount as my salary and i use the money to invest on my parents farming bussiness,with this job i manage to see my children through school and cater for basic needs.

Loan Proposal

I found the need to a mini laptop that will cost 199 us dollars so with the loan of 40 us dollars i will withdraw my savings make it 199 us dollars and buy this mini laptop,
This will help me keep records of my classes and have a clear schedule of what is expected of me it will also avoid the cost of papers and loss of information.
I will also be using the machine to do online research on Hiv and Aids which will help me educate my community.
I plan to pay the loan with my monthly salary.
