I am the first in a family of four children, I completed primary education at R/C primary school in EJISU and joined ABURI girls ,secondary school in Aburi ,but at my second year of study , I had to drop out of school and joined local day school after the death of my father. I procedure after secondary education to abgeka where I did hair dressing and beauty.
I hardship I experienced when starting my business was lack of capital and access to finance. I had to work for two years to save for my start up capital.
The ABGEKA community has diverse culture and many of the peoples in the community are farmers.
i am married and have one child.
my child wants to be a pilot when she grows up ,she likes seeing planes fly over and always wishes she flies them one day.
I love dancing and nature walk during my free time. my favourite food is fufu and palm nut soup. and i like watching football
I provide services like manicure, pedicure, hair dressing, massage and plating. the demand for the services is high because I am social ,outgoing and always offer quality services at fair prices.
I choose these business because it needed less capital to start and is easy to manage and run.
my typical costs per month are $150 and my monthly revenues are $380 per month.
I use the revenues to pay fees for my child, support my young sisters and brothers and take care of my aging mother.
Given the loan ,I would use the money to buy a solar system at cost of $400 .I would add my savings to the $200 loan so as to buy the solar. the solar would increase the efficiency of my services and help me cut losses occasioned by frequent power outrages.Thank you in advance
