About Me

I am a Ghanaian by birth. I had my elementary education at a village called Asuokor where i attended Primary and Middle School. I lost my father when i was in Middle school. I was not discouraged .In form three, i sat for common entrance examination and became first in my school that year in English. I was able to gain admission to secondary in 1990 school through my elder brother who paid for for my admission fee. In school i was able to learn had and became first in my class. That offered me an opportunity to get a merit scholarship which i held unto until i completed school in 1994. After school i was not ale to pass mathematics so i stayed at home for two years and worked for money to be able to register math. By the grace of God, i passed at the second attempt and went to Teacher Training College and came out as a professional teacher. After confirmation as a teacher in 2000 i was posted to a village. My country Ghana is a peaceful one. The challenge the youth have is unemployment. The country has a full potential for agriculture.

My Business

Apart from being a teacher, i have learned to become a taxi driver. I do this business after school every afternoon to supplement my income. n a day i could earn about $ 10 for five days all things being equal. So in all i earn about $200 in a month. My net monthly salary is $200. I chose taxi business because it offers ready cash. As soon as passengers alight they pay their fare. Many people in Ghana do not own their own private cars so a great number of the patrol taxis.I use the profit to cater for my little daughter's education. I do some money for future to be able to purchase a ford transit bus in the near future. I intern to use this loan am applying for to repair another taxi and give to a driver to use.In terest rate in Ghana is very high ranging from 27 % to 35%. That is why i am happy to benefit from Zidisha loans.

Loan Proposal

This loan is to buy a new opel engine, and a cabulator to be able to do taxi business and earn daily income to meet all my responsibilities and make a happy home.My daily income will increase because i do not have to spend my business time always in a mechanic shop for repairs. At least i can make about$15 profit daily.

It is not deliberate to delay the weekly payment in my case most at times, it is due to poor network in my area. I find it impossible to access internet to change my installment payment to choose a new installment schedule. This problem explains my in ability to pay on time. Sorry.

My car which is under trial has been having mechanical breakdowns frequently. Any amount i get is used to service it. This has made it difficult for me to maintain my initial installment payment. I am sorry for any inconvenient caused.

i deeply regret for my inability to do prompt payment for last week and this week. i wanted to notify you but had a problem to log into my account i then reported it to support @zidisha .zendesk.c om. They replied and asked me to do screenshot and send it. i tried today and i was able to log in . The reason for my inability to pay was that my daughter was admitted two weeks ago.I therefore became financially handicapped. However,i would start to pay GH 50 from this week. Because of my situation, i was forced to use part of the loan to settle my daughter's bill. That has delayed the repair of my car for business. My daughter is now discharged from hospital so i am free to mobilize funds. I am sorry for this situation.Thank you.
