My name is victoria Obema from Asamankese in the Eastern corridor of Ghana. A mother, and also a bread winner of a family of 6 . I live the whole of my life in one of this village doing same thing everyday.
In every tick and step of my life, people watch and rely on me , why, because they always count on me. I have suffered a lot in trying to put food on the table for these children. After the death of my husband things really went rough and tough for me.
I had no option than to find something viably doing that can help put food on the table for my children. it is through this up and struggle that I started the tailoring business since that was the only trade I have as part of my skills.
My business as already stated is into sewing of shirt, dress and students uniforms, and also more of patching peoples torn dress and shirt.
This is what I have been doing for the pass 2 years and this is putting food on the table for me. Although the business is good but is sometimes seasonal and also most people do sew their dresses and always like to make post payments. This in a way sometimes sucks.
I sometimes make some small profit usually at the end of the week to about 120 GHS but if on certain occasions the profits sometimes shoots up.
I am however here today to seek for funding to help me put up a shop since I will need a bigger space to help accommodate more work and more contract as well. So I hereby plead on the good lenders to help me survive and stay in business.
I will use part of these loan to hire a bigger space to help improve and accommodate enough people and also receive bigger contract for these tailoring job. It is my hope that I will use this funds to pull in more cash coming from my customers. Thank you.
