About Me

I come from a humble background of five siblings, brought up in a culture where the community values education. I went to public schools both my primary and secondary education through aid from our church, well-wishers, and little from my parents. I was able to join college were I study certificate in education.
I saw an opportunity for setting up a small Cybercafe near the school gate. It was a good venture since University students needed the internet desperately to do their research work. I sourced funds from some of my friends, and I bought 2 computers, 2 chairs, a modem, paid house rent and electricity. I still look forward to growth and expansion through Zidisha.

My Business

I operate a small cybercafe business near my college where my customers are the students. The internet, printing and photocopying services are on demand for students because their assignments involve research. My last Zidisha loan helped me buy a color printer and this has improved my revenues by Ksh 200 ($2) per day. Currently, I make $6 (Ksh. 600) a day, less costs I remain with a profit of $ 3.5 (Ksh. 350)/ day. This translates to $95 (Ksh. 9500-Ksh. 10,000) a month. I use the money to help in paying fees for my younger brother, and I also get some pocket money to pay for my expenses while at school.

Loan Proposal

I currently have few funds. I need the money to add on the existing cash to enable me purchase a new HP-colored printer. Recently, I have been receiving numerous requests from my clients, especially students, who need their work and projects printed using colored printers. This is common with those whose work calls for originality and original appearance of images. Getting the printer will increase my revenues and will provide room for me to apply for another loan to expand my business, after complete repayment.
Thank You in Advance
