About Me

I am a young man of 33 years old and graaduated form the University Of Ghana in the year 2006 with a Bachelor in Philosophy.I have a strong passion to become an entrepreneur specializing in providing IT services.I started trading when i completed senior high school in the year 2000 and manged to build my own shop on my Mother's land where the family lives now.I supported my self during my tertairy education since as at that time my parents were on pension.
Immediately after Shs i worked with someone as a shop attendant and we sell provisions,later on my senior brother in the Uk gave me a capital of about 200pounds in the year 2001, and i started my own trading in provisions.It was on a table top.I sold for about a year before gaining admission into the university.During this time when i was selling i made a lot of profits and save towrds my education because i knew it was going to be hard for me because my parents were on pension and both were not working.My only support was my senior brother in the UK who i could not depend on too much on because he was also a student.I hired someone to take care of the shop in 2002 when i gained admission, and i used to come home on weekends to take stock.
When i began my university education my mum gave me a parcel of land and i managed to be building a shop whilst in school.My senior brother in the UK also supported me a lot in providing some building materials for me.
I have been worjing after my national service on 2007 and continued the building from the salary i am paid.This had not been easy for me at all as i had to sacrifice modt of my salry into the building.I built the shop in order to sell provisiosn but along the line i changed my minfd and started to invest in video camera and production since a frien advised me t invest in providing service rathers than trade in buying and selling.I was before aslos doing graphics and editing as a hobby and i had gained a little experience.I begaon to start the shopa s provoiding video serviceas and phots shhoting on occassions since i managed to buy a camera.This helped me alot in raising additional income to invest in the business
I have a baby girl now who is 5 months old and i plan to help her be a medical doctor in future.As at now i really need to work hard and save for her future to achieve that dream.My hobbys are editing movies and i have done a series of short video clips

My Business

The name of my Business is Able I.T service and Multimedia.We are into Video coveraage, selling phone accessories ,Photo studio and secretarial services.
In my community where i come from a lot of young people love the use of technology,young coples do weddings and that inspired me to set up this business which will drive market.I plan to get the best in terms of video camera which can give high definition, quality images and videos and also in future if i am able to raise more capital add the sales of affordable mobile phones.
I choose to do this because my love for doing video production and I.T started as a hobby whilst in school and i got a lot of people hiring my service,as at that i was young so i did them for free,till after school when i got a job to work as an MIS officer.I began to save from my salary and invest in building the shop and raising capital to start the business.
I have two workers at the moment.A lady front desk staff and a technician who both managed the place whilst i go out to prospect and bring business.I do have walk -in customers as well.
In a month i spend around 700ghc for paying my two workers and utility bills.On the average i am bale to make profits around 300ghc a month after deducting my expenditure.Currently my market base is growing as i have some customers demanding for phones and other accessories which i dont have enough capital to buy.I also plan of selling my old camera and getting a newer replacement by topping up the money and buying a newer one.
I chose to do this business because i have a serious passion for graphics,photos and editing movies.The current camera i am using is a Nikon D800 which only takes Photos,as a result i need to hire a Video camera anytime i get a job for wedding video coverage,this eats a lot into my cost an i paln to buy one and own myself.maybe a good DSLR camera which has both picture and video coverage ability.
I lost both parents and i have five siblings who also have daughters and sons.I am able to help my siblings since two of them now are currently not employed.I Have a wife and a 5month old baby now and i take care of home with the support of my wife

Loan Proposal

Currently i plan to meet my customers demand by buying more phone accessories and buy some few affordable phones to start with.The market demand is growing lately an i really appreciate the rate at which i am progressing.It is my wish to expand my business and also buy a new video camera probably a Nikon d 7200 which can give high quality images to satisfy my customers.This camera will aslo save me the cost of renting a camera for doing my work for cliensts
