About Me
I grew up in Nima 441, a zongo community in Accra. When I completed my senior high education, there was not funds for me to continue my education so I started learning dressmaking from my mum who was sewing by then. In order to support myself and my family I started sewing on my own. I have 2 children who wants to be a Doctor and a Pilot in future. I als teach young girls who have dropped out of school. I love fashion since my childhood that is why I am still sewing.
My Business
I have a shop where I sew and also have young women learning under me. I sew for women and young girls. Dressmaking is very useful and in my community and it's always on high demand. In a week, I earn about 600 cedis. The income from my work is used to reinvest in my business and also pay some bills.
Loan Proposal
I would like to use the loan to pay for my school fees and other bill at the school. I started with my previous loan and I am still continuing my studies at the fashion school. After school I intend to start a small fashion school on my own. I will be needing around 700 dollars to be able to pay for this term.
