About Me

I am a hardworking lady and a mother of one whom like many Kenyans has found it hard to secure a job despite my qualifications, I have a certificate in business management from Kenya college of Accountacy which has helped me a lot to get through my current phase of unemployment. Unemployment has not stopped me from working hard to attain my goals and now with zidisha coupled with zidisha success stories I have witnessed with two of my friends, my goals will surely be realized. The quest for a better life has made me realize employment is not the only avenue to success, that’s why I have since started a beauty/cosmetics business.

My Business

Thanks to Zidisha, I have moved from hawking products to establishing a business premises just outside the university grounds. Customers (Mainly campus students) are able to get me at any time during working hours. I buy in wholesale essentials like vests, Bras, Perfumes, Socks, earings, etc from wholesalers and sell piece by piece to locals at a very good profits. Business was good when i was hawking but it is even better after acquiring a shop it has realy grown. Soon I will replicate the same in several campuses.

Loan Proposal

This loan will help me acquire a shop to sell my products and more importantly a reliable meeting place between me and my clientele. It has been challenging for me to raise this amount in bulk but now with your loan plus the small amount i had managed to save, I will now be able to raise the deposits, rent and business levies. I am hoping to be fully operational when the next semester begins in October.
