About Me

To begin with, am Benard Mokaya Monyoncho and hails from Kisii County(formerly Kisii District). Kisii County is one of the two Counties namely; Kisii and Nyamira. Kisii District represented the Abagusii Community which was later split form Nyamira District in 1992 and Gucha in 2007 by the retired president Daniel Moi. In terms of family life, i was born in an average family set up because my dad was a primary school teacher. However, things changed after the demise of my dad and things were not that easy. However, my mum was hardworking and through small business she managed to take us to school. After high school, i joined College to take Accounts and this is where my business idea developed. This started as i begun to help colleagues to solve accounting problems. Some came to my living room for assistance and pay me some small amount. When the number increased, I was forced to hire a room in town for coaching and get paid. Immediately after my studies I started my College in 2011 and I currently have 105 students and expect to increase when funds are available to hire more rooms and buy facilities. My community is unique " we like peace". Kisii town has a large population due to prevailing peace and love and the economy growing fast for we currently have over 15 banks Kisii town alone. Am recently married and our kid is still young to tell anything. when free i like reading and watching movies.

My Business

When I started my College, I had raised capital through teaching part time students. This enabled me to hire rooms and pay teachers who i hired to help me when the the number increased. The demand everywhere in the world is going up every day Kisii is not left behind. This is why Educational centres will never lack people to teach and make them better future citizens. Kisii is bordered by Migoi, Nyamira and Narok Conties. Kisii town is the largest and attracts people from all his places. Secondly the work force in this regions want to upgrade their education for purposes of promotions and better pay. All this will a place in my College and learn. Mostly, I spend money in paying tutors and office staff, rent and motivation to my staff. The profit earned is spent in grading my studies as well and slowly expanding the institution and my vision is to run a university in future.

Loan Proposal

Given the amount requested, I will spend Ksh 4000 (47.o6$) to purchase a Central Processing Unit (CPU), A 17" Monitor at Ksh 500058.82$), A refurbished Keyboard Ksh 400(4.71$) and a mouse at ksh 200(2.35$). this gadget will hep me increase the number of Computers I have in My College and prevent struggling with the few available computers. When students are comfortable, they will attract more students because a computer can act as a marketing too tool.
