I am a Kenyan single Lady aged 25,second born in a family of four.I graduated in Jomo Kenyatta University with a bachelor of commerce specializing in Finance in 2012.I opted to start business because it was a easy way of self employment as i apply and wait to get a job in the formal sector which will be a good thing since i will be able to expand my business and the business would have gotten a good financial standing then hopefully.I am able to manage my business since i have skills that are required in this field from my back ground in finance.I use the profit that i get from the business to restock and cater for my basic needs.
I started my business from my own personal savings of KES 50000.i have specialized in women clothing, shoes and bags. i also sourced some funds worth 30 000fromfriends and family Since i started i have been able to expand the business and secured a physical shop in Nairobi town along mfangano street, swingmart stalls number B10.I post my products in social sites like face book and twitter. The challenge i am now facing is that the demand is high and supply is low because i don't have enough funds to buy enough stock
when i get the loan of KES 3225 i will buy dresses since most of my clients are teachers who prefer official dresses to suits .the dresses will cost me at a whole sell price KES 600 ,i will sell the dresses at a retail price ranging from 1500-2000 hence making a profit between 900-1400 hundred per dress this will help me pay the loan without difficulty and be left with enough money to restock.
