About Me

My name is Philip Githui Mwaniki.I am 28 years old..I am a resident and also a small businessman from Githunguri town,outskirts of Kiambu ,Kenya.The village is located 500 meters away from the Ting'ang'a shopping Centre and the Main Murang'a highway.I am a law abiding kenya citizen and a father too.I have one wife and three children whom we live together.We all attend Church every Sunday at the Pentecostal Harvest Church,Githunguri Parish,which is led by Bishop Isaac Natoshe,a mighty man of God.
I was educated in my primary level in Kiambu County,secondary level and later my college level which finished in the year 1998 and attained a Certificate in Entrepreneurship. Through the learning that i got from the college,i have applied it to my small business in the year2010,and it had been one of it's kind ever happened here in Githunguri Town and it's environs.thank you so much for shedding light into our business through your generous support. My Business

Having completed my Certificate in Entrepreneurship, i thought it was wise to apply it to my own business.In the year 2010 i opened a small cafehotel here in Githunguri Centre.From the small capital i had from the saving of my previous part time job,i eventually opened a small hotel (Cafe)here at Githunguri Centre.I rented a room and bought some few plastic chairs & rounded plastic tables to accommodate my customers while being served.The business is managed by me and my wife and i have employed two more casual workers whom we work along together with my wife as team players in the hotel.
In order to have one's business approved to operate in this City,one has to clear with (a)the County health & Hygienic board,(b)Municipal inspectorate office and last (c)all workers must be examined by the District health department to be fit for the hotel hygienic standards.For me i have undergone all these and finally i was approved to operate my small cafe.Then licensed by the local authority and handed an annual operating permit.
In my cafe,you can get fast food services like tea,porridge,coffee,snacks,mandazis,chapatis,samosas,sausages,smokies and chips.
In the mean time i am planning to add more delicacies and more food tastes for the customers who keeps on asking or demanding each new day.Through your kind and generous financial support from Zidisha Microfinance ,i am planning to start cooking/preparing more favorite different types of foodsdishes for the customers satisfactions,and I will get large numbers of customers who will be coming for their desired tastes.As a result,my business will have grown to a higher level.As the saying goes: that the more the clients,the more the returns.
As for now i am capable of making a clean Ksh.1,500 equivalent to almost USD-18 dollars profit in a day's sales.This is after i have paid all the day's expenses including the wages for the workers.
Through your support my dream will come into a reality and one day i will be the owner of a bigger three star hotel.This will create more employment opportunities for our youths here in the village and also increase my net profit margin.I am looking forward for a positive response from the Zidisha team.Thank you all
