Alexander Nketia, as I have always been known, was born in the eastern part of Ghana, Akim Oda - Wenchi and later moved at the age of seven to live with my grandfather in Akim Oda-Ayirebi due to lack of funds on my mother's side to fund my education.
I started primary one at the presbytarian primary school in Akim Ayirebi and was later moved to continue at Ayirebi D/A primary A school from primary four. I completed my primary education here and continued Junior High school at Ayirebi D/A J.H.S. in the year 2005, all at the expense of my grandfather.
I had the chance to further my education in St. Francis Senior High Technical school but due to inadequate funds, I was made to continue my education in Ayirebi Senior High School between the years of 2007 to 2011. By the grace of our Lord in heaven, I came out with flying colors.
Due to inadequate funds to continue my education in high school, I started searching for a job which will help me enjoy at least a two square meal a day.
Luckily for me I found a lady who introduced me into online importation business.
I was able to start this business by buying wristwatches from online merchant shops in China and USA with a 100 Ghana Cedis capital I had saved.
I have since been doing this business for almost a year now.
Since the people of Ghana are welcoming and are ready to embrace new findings, they have embraced my business and I now have thousands of customers who are ready to buy anything I import.
I am into a mini online importation business in which I buy goods like mobile phones, tablet PC's, wristwatches, phone accessories, power banks, home appliances and a lot more online and resell them in my country Ghana to make profit.
The people of Ghana cherish imported goods than locally manufactured so there is always a ready market for whatever I bring into the country.
I have a facebook fan page where I usually advertise my wristwatches with over two thousand likes. The page is found here www.facebook.com/ketiamventures
This simply tells the progress of the business.
I import these items at a very low prices in some merchant stores outside the country and resell them in Ghana and I make a minimum of 80% profit on every item I bring down into the country.
Since I started this business, I have always been using the profits I generate to reinvest in the business. This has led to the massive growth of the business.
I will be using this loan to expand my online mini importation business. It will help me import some mobile phone power banks from China. The price per each power bank is $6.65. Profit expectation is between 100-150%.
