I am 36 years old marred with three kids. I was borne in homa bay county schooled at Nyagowa primary school, secondary level at Karabok Oyugis, diploma at Eldoret polytechnic, and then finally Moi university graduate with degree in information sciences, apparently working at Mount Kenya University as a Library Assistant and doing restaurant business in Oyugis hometown where my wife is the manager. This business i started after completing my degree in 2012 and there was no job to support may wife's education fee in college doing certificate in education. Maine target is to expand in services and become leading employer in Homa bay county. And because of what my costumers like most in my hotel i plane to start poultry farming and supply my business with hens at list two every day, this will help me not depend on this business alone but to have another income generating activities again.
I stated my business one year after completing my degree education, with the small capital found from my fathers taxi which i was operating. It started in a small scale as a food kiosk operating next to bus stop where there was many customers and know restaurant around, this gave me an opportunity to capitalize on. The business started with 6000/= and was making profit of 1200/= after paying three workers and water bill 100/= ,today its is making 2800/= less all expenses every normal days of the week. my Maine target to add more chairs and tables to meet the demand of may customers witch is growing daily and to start outside catering for funeral services, meetings and weddings around.
the achievement in my business this time has been the new space for the customers. so this loan will help add more chairs to the space. the main target is to have a siting capacity of 46 customers at a times more so, the time of foot ball premier league when customers are many. plastic chairs 12 @ 750 KES each total to 9000 KES. with the more customers will affect the increase in profit made par a day. thanks
