my names are mary Makokha.I am a beautician. I am a sinle mum to two kids Robert and Reuben. My husband died in west gate attack in a mall in Nairobi. He was a soldier who was involved in the rescue operations and passed on while on duty.
My husband left me too early, with a young family .I had to move from our house in the barracks to a rented house in Nairobi. Soon I released I could not afford the costs and so had to relocate to Busia our rural home.. I opened a saloon using my late husbands benefits, they saloon picked up well and that is the business I am running to date.
Reuben wants to be a pilot when he grows up while Robert wants to me a nurse. I have always liked athletics ever since I was young and so during my free time I find time to run around just to keep fit and healthy.
my saloon is a medium saloon that provides hair dressing ,blow dry ,pedicure and manicure.
Ladies would always want to look nice and so the form the largest part of my clientele base although men also come to my saloon.
I choose these business because i had attended college on hair dressing and so I had some experience on the same.
My costs are $200 in a month and my revenues are $400 in month.
I use my profits for business expansion and taking care of my young family.
Dear lenders, please support me to upscale the new line of business I introduced last month. I used the first loan to buy beauty and cosmetic products such as hair care oils, lip polish, nail polish, moisture, etc. The market response has been great, and I see great potential and growth opportunity in these business.
I will use the loan to buy these products in bulk so as to enjoy economies of scale. I will benefit in terms of increase of number of customers as well as revenue. I beg you help me. Thank you.
