My name is Ali Abdala Masha a resident of mtwapa and a businessman here in mtwapa as well. Am married and blessed with two children. I live with my family here at a rented house. I was not lucky enough to atend to a secondary school, i droped out of primary school when i was in class seven and this is because of the poor status in my family. I have been struggling to make sure that my children dont fall in the same situation.I decided to start a charcoal and firewood business which has been doing very well. With what i get from my business i buy food, pay rent, and other family needs.
My business is processing of charcoal and selling of firewood. This business is good and profitable because these products are of high demand here since many of the people living here are middle class earners who cant affoed the high prices of kerosene and cooking gas. I do this business here in mtwapa and the nearby villages and i have many customers. My customers are mainly the traders and also the locals here who come to me and buy these goods. Its a paying business and in a month i get an income of ksh 20,000. the risks i face in this business are like, change of weather, for example when it rains heavily i cant process the charcoal because this requires too much sunlight. so it becomes a problem in rainy weather. With the income i get i use ksh 4,000 in buying food for my family, ksh 2,000 in paying my house rent, ksh 6,000 in paying school fees my children. So i save ksh 8,000 per month. With this saving i can use to repay my loan and also save for other purposes like now i think of starting a green grocer with will add more income for my family needs .
Hello my dear lenders am so happy to have another chance applying a loan again. Iam so happy that with the previous loans I took my business has taken a different look, I started with the firewood and charcoal business but I now have a green grocer attached to that. And my customers demand I would like to advance my green grocer to a full shop with all my customers requirements. So with this loan I would like to buy maize flour, rice, beans, cooking oil, sugar, all the commodities a shop requires. With these goods I will boost my business to a higher levels and this would be so good to the business and also my customers will be happy. Thank once again for this opportunity and may God bless you all.
