About Me

My name is kennedy oluoch oyuech..i was born and raised in kisumu rural....part of my schooling was in kisumu and in rift valley.
I have also believed in hard work and dedication in all my endervous and that is how i have been overcoming any huddles in my life.
Am a professional teacher,besides this I also do farming for subsistence and for business, I am also thinking of starting up a poultry farming,so far I have ten chicken that I have started with,am looking forward to expanding this business as time goes by.

My Business

I am a professional teacher who teaches in the locality, this gives me an ample time to engage in other income generating activities because over the weekend and on holidays I have plenty of time...As a side hustle I engage in agribusiness... that is agricultural activities for use and for sale.... I grow maize Which I supply to local market and schools... which sustains me well.... I also recently started a poultry farming, which is still on the trial phase, I started with ten chicken which I am optimistic to expand as time goes by and I have adequate funding... I do a free range poultry farming but if am able to expand the capacity I'll be able to structure it properly.

Loan Proposal

I am currently involved in agribusiness where I grow maize for both subsistence and for market, where I supply the local market and nearby schools...To expand my earnings I recently started poultry farming,where I have already started off with ten chicken where I rear them in a free range....I want to go big and expand this business because having assessed the market I see this is a business that's marketable..so I would like to appeal for a loan from zidisha to buy more chicken... I also want to build a structure where I will be hatching eggs on my own and my chicken currently are free range....with this loan i will be able to expand my business and also repay my loan accordingly.

Income Source

If I expand my poultry farming, I will have expanded my range of business earnings,that is.. I will have hens laying eggs which will be a source of income, I some of the eggs will also be hatched where I will be selling the chicks,still the hens will be sold at various ages and stages...All these will give me a wide range of income there by the repayment of your loan won't be hampered...still I do maize farming where on a bad chicken season I can still pay from that votehead.
