Loan Proposal

I started the business in October 2012 with a computer which my friend assisted me with. I had to lend a printer from a friend at a monthly fee. The little amount of money I had was used to pay for office rent and license fees. The business has been successful; currently I have acquired my own machines worth over Kenya shillings 176,000 (USD 1979) and own assets worth over Kenya shillings 300,000 (USD 3374). I am now planning to open new branches in two nearest centres. I also want to venture into viable businesses in the area (agro-dealers and general shops). The only hindering factor is raising enough capital in a short span of time; but, I believe ZIDISHA is going to assist me solve that problem. The USD 48 loan I received from ZIDISHA helped me in acquiring more materials which I am now using. The amount I am now requesting will be paid promptly (On-Time Repayment) will still be 100% as was of the earlier loan. I am really grateful for the first loan which helped me alot.

I am a sheep farmer. The problem is that I don't own a ram which has lead to delay in breeding of my ewes. This amount will enable me to buy good breed of a young ram. Improved breeds of my sheep will mean a good income from my farm.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all the members who funded my project. I can now buy the ram.

I have bought two lamb ewes from the loan. The total cost of the two sheep was KES 10,000. I used KES 2,000 to do the fencing of sheep enclosure; KES 970 was used in purchasing deworming medicine, mineral salt and molasses.
I thank you lenders for your continued support.

I wish to thank my previous and current lenders for their support. I am very much grateful. God bless you all. I was able to purchase two more ewes with the loan you gave me last time.
This week only, 5 of my ewes gave birth – one sired twins – but one of the six lambs died. I am expecting three more lambs by the end of this week.
