About Me

My name is Kirui Richard. I come from humble family in Narok county. My childhood life was full of challenges since both parents passed away and I was brought up by my elder brother. I completed my primary education where I passed well and joined a high school in Bomet county. After completing high school I joined Egerton university where I studied diploma in animal health. I graduated with credit.
I managed to complete my education because my brother usually encouraged me.
Then another challenge encounter me. This was how to start an agrovet shop. I was assisted by my brother with only 100000/. The amount did not managed to stock my shop to the intent of my customers.
I come from a place where people like keeping livestock but the problem is that there is no enough capital to certify all this farmers. If given enough capital I will help my customers to get their items.
My hobby is to visit my treated patients and see them recovery well.

My Business

In my agrovets I normally sell seeds; minerals; acaricides and dewormers to farmers. I also went outside and do treatment of sick animals where I get paid for the services. The items I usually sell are demand because livestock here is the source of livelihood to people living around.
In fact I decided to engage on agrovet business because it is my specialization.
The cost incurred in my business is payment for county business license; electricity bill and veterinary inspection fee.
The profit I get I normally use to increase stock.

Loan Proposal

If I received the loan I will buy dairy meals for sales at my shop. I will increase the stock as follows:
30 per 10kg dairy meal at a cost of KES 7050.
20 per 20kg dairy meal at a cost of KES 9000.
