About Me

My name is Alex Ochieng Omino. I have a humble and poor beginning from child hood. My education was supported by World Vision Kenya, I did my Kenya certificate of secondary Education in 1994. I got a mean grade of C plain but could not proceed with my education due to lack of college fees. I then started working on agriculture to support my family. I did well in farming personally and I decided to mobilise for fellow youth who have no employment in the community and we started working together on our farms. From this work I was identified and trained by Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations as a facilitator. Now am a Master Facilitator for Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations. I have founded agriculture centre for learning and practical agriculture. And I need a loan to expand my work with the centre in order to provide more income opportunity for the poor people and for the centre sustainability. I also derive my income from the centre produce and professional extension services. Thank you for considering my request.

My Business

The Agricultural the centre is under irrigation farming with an average income of ksh 20,000 = per month, the centre also provides training to organizations dealing with Agriculture, clean energy, water and sanitation and Entrepreneurship. This also brings occasional income depending on the organisation asking for the training services.

Loan Proposal

Purchasing of equipment that will make farming easy. I intend to buy tools that will make the youth love agricuas an alternative source of income. The priority is to get tools that make farming easy and also less labour intensive
