An outgoing and enthusiastic 39 year old who went through the local schools to obtain a bachelors degree in Economics & Mathematics from Egerton University in Kenya. I' am married to Juliet, with two children; Michelle, 9 years is in class 4 and dreams of being a policewoman & Brian, 3 starts baby class next year. I come from a family of 7;a brother & 5 sisters whom I derive satisfaction for having successfully seen through school. My mom, Florence is a housewife & my dad a retired teacher. Besides, formal employment, I run a small barber shop and enjoy travelling to new places during my free time. That is Anderson.
I have worked in a number of corporate organizations in Kenya including; General Motors, Coca cola, Cadbury Plc. and currently PSI/Kenya where I' am currently in charge of distribution & warehousing. While in college, realizing that government funding for tuition fees was not a guarantee, I used my first loan from the government to open a barber shop since I had contributions for my first year from relatives & well - wishers. I have continuously re-invested in this business even as I used part of the proceeds to buy a plot for my eventual home. As I use my employment proceeds, to take care of my family, I continue using my profits in re -investments & planning for my home as I look forward for the brand - Anderson Beauty Centers [ABC].
Anderson Beauty Center {ABC} , is a small business comprising a Salon & Barber shop offering basic hair beauty services including but not limited to hair dressing, hair cuts, pedicure & manicure. I intend to start refurbishing the interiors to give it a more attractive look and introduce new line like facial massage & off the shelf beauty products / cosmetics to meet the changing client needs. In the long I envisage opening branches and moving the business to the next level where clients can even enjoy a glass of free wine as they are attended to as in this generation these are the lines that will be considered premium products and as such rope in more income.
