About Me

Born Ebenezer Mwangi, am a 23 year old. Born & raised in Kenya specifically a ghetto called Githurai 45. I come from the Agikuyu tribe of Kenya. We are the biggest tribe in Kenya in terms of population. My early years as a kid were tough but also exciting and thrilling growing in an area with lots of kids to play with & a place with lots of business activities. Money's exchanged a lot. Though I never missed a meal growing up we come from a place & an environments of have-nots. But this is where I began my entrepreneurial journey, by rearing 'dush' slang word for a dove in Sheng. I'd rear them and sell to kids who loved birds and also who took a liking to hunting birds. I also happen to study business and getting versed with its lingo. I grew into my college years where I practically applied the knowledge. I've dived head first into selling a lot of products to my comrades as we call them in Kenya. And this helped me survive in my later years as life got tougher for my family as inflation ravaged the country. I once ventured into food, selling bhajia in school waking up as early as 4AM and preparing a bucketful of the food to sell & market during lunch break. But I dropped out since I was juggling a lot at that time and also my passion for school faded. But the ventures I took solidified a strong belief in myself. A unique thing about our culture is our food, our tribe's language (Gikuyu), our climate, our history, all the different tribes, our traditions and culture. I love reading books, love farming , love swimming.

My Business

What I do is I sell shoes . In 2020/2021 I took from where I left of at college & saw an opportunity online . I was a hawker which has its challenges like the hot sun, rain few customers or also no customers, problems with the law. Not having your own space in business poses a lot of challenges in Kenya. I invented a brand called Ndula na Kladi sheng words for shoes & clothes. I once used paid marketing to sell shoes and saw the demand. I choose shoes because I love fashion & people love looking good. People love to stand out particularly my target audience. My brand affordable, stylish, quality footwear & clothing to the growing population of youth in Kenya and also Africa. My expenses are licenses marketing, buying stock of shoes, logistics, website, branding, lights, rent, furniture, shoe essentials. I use profits to grow the business and also split with my family as well. My revenue depend on the type of shoe I sell, there are shoes that give you a higher profit margin and others a little. Example sandal you'd buy them at 130KSH(1.19USD) and retail at 200KSH(1.8.3USD) on the low. If you sell 200 pairs you have 40000KSH(366.58USD). If I retail a nike sneaker maybe bought at 1500KSH sell it at 2000KSH. If you sell 200 pairs that's 400000KSH(3665.77USD). I want help with 1500USD to expand & continue building what I began. L
