About Me

my family is located in roka village in roka location in kilifi district coast province and in the newly formed kilifi county in kenya.am in a family of 8 being the third born.i schooled at roka maweni primary school till the year 2004 and later joined chumani secondary school where i completed my O level education the year 2009.Then i ventured in the small business to keep myself busy whereby i expanded slowly until last year when i introduced the mpesa services.the earnings from the business are used mainly to improve on the stock and save a bit,i also give to my family to support my young brothers and sisters since our dad passed away and we have to take care of the family as the elders together with my brother to ensure they get the basic needs.i recently completed my driving classes and i plan to do a diploma in business administration from my savings.

My Business

i have an mpesa business which i run alongside a retail shop at roka .in the retail shop i mainly deal with food stuffs, like unga, rice; sugar ;beans, pojo bread and many more. i also deal with non consumable goods like safari com lines ,airtime, soap, and photocopy services. there is demand for mpesa services because its the only one in the area.for the other products there is competition but not that stiff because am the only one who is stable in terms of stock, and also the polite and best way i serve my customers.the risk in mpesa is the con men who have real infested the mpesa system in Kenya. In the other products its only when the goods expire before sale and the circulation of fake currency.the profitability of the business is that most of the goods i deal with gives at least 40% profit on sale.the monthly expenses are approximately kes60000,sales kes90000 profit 30000

Loan Proposal

as i posted i will use my loan in expanding the bussines as follows, i will use 40% of it to purchase airtime and simcard of different mobile networks in kenya. 20% will be put in use to increase the current available stock. because of wear and tear i will have to use 10% of the loan to to the refubishment of business premises wall.then the rest which is eqiuvalent to10% will be put in the business account to await for any stock by the daily venders.
