About Me

I grew up in a poor family in Timboroa.I went to Chemare Primary School.Got good marks but my parents could not afford to go to good secondary school,so I joined a day school nearby.I worked hard in school and got a C+ which gave me a chance to join college.I got a job but was not satisfied with the salary.I started a small kiosk with my savings. The people around me are so generous and encouraged me every day as they bought my commodities. My chidren like what I do and desire to be business people.I like cultivating land when I have little time.

My Business

I sell dry food cereals such as rice, beans, peas, maize and greengrams in retail. This helps the low income earners to buy smallest amounts they can afford hence assured of buyers daily. Most people around are employees far from home and do not get produce directly from farms, therefore need to buy food from the shop.I rent my shop since I do not own a plot, pay county council fees for permit to operate the business and incurr cost for transporting produce from farms.I use profit to pay school fees for my children, grow the business and save some to buy a plot of my own to become a landlord in near future.

Loan Proposal

I will use the the loan to buy 2bags of potatoes at a cost of 14 US DOLLARS.I will also start selling fresh milk in retail.I will start with 40 litres which will cost me 20 US DOLLARS.This will help my customers gets the commodities above at a cheaper price compared to supermarket prices.I will make some profits as I will sell at amounts that best fits my customers pockets.I expect a profit of 200 US DOLLARS after 1½ months.
