i am a lady aged 26 yrs and a diploma holder i information studies and also diploma holder in hairdressing and beauty, i grew up from a humble background with a lot of competition for the limited resources, which this competition it was survival for the fittest, with this encounters i develop courage to face the wall and thought of taking the risk in business to which i came out successfully. with the desire to be independent and also support my family i decided to venture into business of salon and cosmetics. my business is located at Gilgil town- Gilgil sub county in Nakuru county where i am able to attend to client from various offices in town, i do offer quality services and handle my customers well and they market my business on my behave. my hobby and interest is plaiting of hair.

My Business

my business falls under service industry as it majorly deals with service relating to beauty and hairdressing, this services are in great demand as beauty is key to every individual and each an every time there must be a client. with the knowledge in hairdressing and beauty i saw it fit to venture into the business putting in the high pressure in demand for better services which i felt that i can fully offer to the community.
the business is able to make between 30- 40 US dollar per day to which am able to cater for any other cost like payment of daily bills and wages to my staff, after all the deductions the net profit range between 10- 15 US dollar per day to which it is reinvested to the business for further expansion.

Loan Proposal

with this loan am applying am planning the increase my work stations and also expand the saloon. currently the number of my clients have greatly increased and am seeing the need to have enough space to accommodate my clients. with this effect my business will experience a profit increase of about 25% per month which is encouraging.
besides i will be able to increase opportunities for job by 7 people, and this reduce the rate of unemployment in our society.
