my name is millicent wanjiku aged 31years and i am akenyan citizen.I am married with two children.i live in Githunguri estate.i finished my high school in 1999 and joined college in 2001 up to 2003 where i pursued a certificate course in pharmacyy and dispensing.Later i was employed i a District hospital as a pharmcist for two years and also in a epz company for thee years until i was retrenched
i decided to start my own business from the savingsi had accumulated.I started selling clothes shoes, schoolbags, plastic items like buckets basins and also utencils like plates cups, spoons, coooking pans ettc/
This business has helped me purchase a small piece of land and i am still putting up my house there with the proceeds from this business.
I am able to restock my business and support my family and parents at home.
My busines is called hope shop.it is located along the tarmac near bus stage opposite wings supermarket
i deal with goods like clothes shoes, schoolbags, plastic items like buckets basins and also utencils like plates etc
people prefer my business because i sell my products at an affordable price that most low income earners can afford. The competition is relatively high because of other traders dealing in the same goods but i ensure that i m ahead of my competitors by bringing quality products every time.I already have many customers and my business is profitable.
The main challenge is lack of additional capital to help me expand further and be more competitive.
Monthly income is as below
total income per month 43,000/=
total expenses per month 30,000/=
profit per month 13,000/=
Am so happy to write again my loan proposal . I will use the loan for inventory in my business. First I will purchase the ladies products using 70$ .then I will also purchase the men's products using 50$ .Also I will purchase the beauty products both for men and for the ladies using 20$ . I will also purchase the plastic products using 15$ .The remaining balance of 10$ I will send it to the children's home ,which is sponsored by kizito Catholic Church where I attend Mass. This will create a great benefit to me and also to others ,because I have already enrolled my son to higher education and also I have created job to my friend. I am expecting my profits to grow from 5% to10% because my business is doing well .because I be able to add new stock. Regards Millicent
