My name is Bubala Malambo from Monze Southern Province of Zambia.
I completed my high school in 2017 and after passing my grade 12 exams, my parents could not afford to take me to university because of various issues affecting their income. So instead of waiting on them to find something for me to do or keep me busy with as I was still waiting to go to university I decided to start up my own business which was selling second hand clothes.
My uncle helped me with some capital and that is how I first started selling second hand clothes to the community.
I sell almost all types of clothes ranging from dresses, shirts, bedsheets, stocks, hoodies etc. My business is still growing, I recently ordered for blankets to sell because the whether here is very cold.
on average, my business is going on well because I am a little flexible with the prices so many people turn up in numbers every time I return with new clothes .
I placed orders for blankets coming through from Tanzania that I wish to sell. I ordered for blankets because of the whether here is very cold and so warm garments are quite on demand. I will then order for assorted headsocks and also jerseys.
The economic climate is for sure so very unpredictable and with that reason is why I am only buying only the things that are on demand so that before my loan is due, I will be able to repay off the money through my sales
