My name is Janet Ouma. I am single kenyan lady aged 26. I was born in a family of seven and I am the first born in our family. my dad was a police officer and my mum was a teacher. Life at my tender age was good but later my dad become alcoholic and abusive. He could drink all his money living us without food and basic needs. when I was 18years both my parents succumbed to illness in what i would later let was HIV related complications.
After the death of my parents ,I was taken in by an uncle and my siblings were taken in by my aunt. I completed my secondary education at 19 years and started helping my aunt in her saloon business. I developed passion in hair dressing and beauty and learnt how to do it with love and passion. I worked hard as i knew i had to support my two siblings. I took a loan from a friend that I used to rent a small kiosk where i started humbly, since i dint have equipments,I could only do basic things. I later bought equipments from my savings and these is how my business was born.
I currently dont have children but looking forward to be a mum soon, I like socialisng, watching movies, singing and dancing.
I own a saloon that provides great services to my esteemed clients including hair dressing, shampooing, manicure and pedicure.
My saloon is stragically placed in an estate with middle income families and my clients are many. I give them the best services to make sure i retain them. I always ensure they get the best and treat them as kings and queens.
I choose these business because it is very profitable and involves working around people.
I spend $200 on rent, electricity water and miscellaneous in a month. my monthly income average is $350. I use most of my income to pay for my siblins fees, pay for my bills and save for reinvestment.
due to support from zidisha ,I am happy to report that I will be opening a second branch of saloon . The new shop has already been designed and painted and I am hoping to get the loan so that I can buy furniture and blow drier for the new business. I expect my income to double with these new business.I beg you support me.
