About Me

Matilda is a humble girl who grew up in rift valley in Kericho town went for my primary education later moved back to Machakos county for my secondary education.
My mum operated a small grocery store where i would help in when the school were close there i s where my passion for business started,i started by cooking mandazi and sell at the grocer then profit would be my pocket and buy myself fancy dress and jewelly, and thats how my business was started from my mum kiosk from the mandazi i graduate in selling second hand clothes and beauty products which i would supply to saloon within our estate my business enabled me to go to college and do a diploma in sales and marketing hence overcoming the burden of my mum paying my fee and for my sibling my business made the fee load lighter.

Am from the Kamba community rain is not our pride though we harvest sand which is our pride and we have also learned how to plant food which can resist sun like cowpeace, mangoes and oranges which make our land more profitable.

My daughter is in KMTC during a course in Nutrition and Dietary she will be a Nutritionist once she finish college,my second daughter want to be journalist and a sport analyst while the last one wants to be a lawyer.
My pastime hobby is cooking because i try different type of food and sometimes i do it for payment.

My Business

My current business is general supplies and also home management services,i supply office stationary to offices and schools.
The goods are important and useful because every office needs photocopy papers and printing papers which i make it ready available for i source and delivery to them,in the home management i offer cleaning service, baby sitting and cooking service for career mums who want to come home and have home made dinner and have they kids taken care of and a well taken cleaned home.
Most of my cost is actually on supply business where alot of movement is required and hence cash flow is very important here.
I use my profit in paying school fees and reinvesting it back to the business as well as settling my bills when the business is quite good.
