Am Amani Wanje Iha a resident of mtwapa and a businessman in mtwapa as well. Am a familyman married and with three children. The first child is a boy aged twelve years and is in class five now, the scond is ten years and is in class one and the third is one and a half years old I live with my children here in mtwapa. my educational background is class eight leaver, i missed the opportunity of joining to a secondary school due to my family's financial status. After my primary school i started venturing in business. My profession is a matatu driver, so with my daily wages i saved and managed to start a bodaboda business. This business picked up so well. And am so happy that i started this business. I dont ride the motorcycles but i hire to riders who hire at ksh 350 per day i now have two motorcycles. so with the two motorcycles i get ksh 700 per month which makes ksh 21,000 per month. With this amount i buy food for my family, pay school fees for my children pay house rent and also invest back the business. and also save

My Business

Am a bodaboda businessman, here in mtwapa and also in the neighboring towns. My main role in this business is to buy motorcycles and then hire to riders and in this exercise i provide employment the youth. As this town is developing is also the business opportunity as well. With this high population this business does very well. This business does good and i make an income of ksh 21,000 per month. I use part of this for my family use adding to my normal daily wages. Risks in this business is theft at night and also when it rains the roads become flooded and repair costs of motorcycles go up.With this business income i use ksh 2,000 paying my house rent ksh 5,000 paying school fees this is because my children are in a private school as private school provide the best education standard.i also spare ksh 5,000. so this means i save ksh 9,000. With this amount a can repay my zidisha loan. My objective is to create a job atmosphere for the youth which has been a big challenge as the lack of employment in Kenya. With this i want to add more motorcycles and i want zidisha to help me

Loan Proposal

Hello am grateful for this chance of applying a loan for the second time from you. First i would like to thank all the zidisha community for helping upto this point. With my first loan i was very happy to have my own motorbike. And this really added more value to my income. With this loan i would like to use it to buy a new motorbike as the previous one was a second hand motorbike which has been giving me challenges. With an amount i have saved i would like to get a brand new motorbike which will be very good for me and to my customers. Thank you once again for your kind help. God bless you.
