About Me

Am called Florence Jemaiyo ,I live in kamukunji estate of Eldoret town of Rift Valley Province of the Re public of Kenya.
I was born in the year 1986 in the same place Eldoret .I attended School in Kidiwa Primary between the year 1991 to the year 1998 .

I did not go to the high School due to lack of School fees because my parent did not have enough money to pay for my school fees.

Latter I opted to engage in Small business of Backing mandazi that is backing bans which am doing to date after I got little capital from my father that was 500KES and was in the year 1999 .
Am now married with two kids of whom are Five years and the last one is two years old.
The first is in class one this year and last one is still young and has not begun schooling.

I overcame hardship after I started this Business of mine which has really helped me and my family.
I started this Business when my own father gave me 500KES as a capital and I started with that little .
The unique thing in my area is that girls are not considered in education unlike boys who are being considered the more .
My children are still young therefore they cannot decide for themselves as per now but I wish that they would be business men in future.
My hobby is to climb the mountain in my free time with my husband and also sing is part of life at all time.

My Business

I provide for my customers or sells to my customers MANDAZIS that is bans.
These bans or mandazis as they are known in the local language are very important because people are really looking for what to use for break fast e very morning and also what to use in the evening and the population is very big in the place I stay therefore it is in great demand and useful.
As I have said above I chose this kind of business because of the great population and because am talented in bakery and also because it is cheap to start without a big capital of money.
My typical cost and revenue is 15,000KES.
This is how I use my profit that I get from my business.
-School fees for my child is 4,000KES.
-Reinvestment in growing the business is 2,000KES
-Home improvement 5,000KES.
-Church activities is 1,000KES

Loan Proposal

If I am given this loan amount then I will buy
1. 2 bale of wheat flour at= 30 Dollars
2. 20 liters of liquid oil at =20 Dollars.
This will total to 50 dollars.
This will give me more profit and I will get more customers in my shop daily.
My customers will get what they want from my shop daily and also some body will employed to help me do the work .
If this loan amount is implemented in this business ;then I expect 30% increase as my income and profit.
