About Me

I am known as Uba Bakari Juma.Born in 1973 and the first born of our family ,I am married with two childrens one in class seven and the other one in class six. They are very bright students and I believe with my hard work They will perform to my expectant. I heard the good news about zidisha and I have decided to give it a try as I wish to get money and support my business of dressmaking. I have three brother s who also look forward to my help as my both parents passed away . They are in secondary level one in form three and the other two in forms two. I

My Business

I started my business in the year 2008 and it was just selling of materials like like cloth materials called kikoi which did better with the coastal tourists in our country Kenya. I used to buy this materials from Tanzania because in Tanzania are cheaper than in Kenya . After three years I decided to join singer college of dressing making and I was able to sell the materials and even sew for them in any style they want. My customers are school teachers and the neighbors’ around me always like my style of dressing and the professional advices that I do give them. When I get this loan I will be able to market my business by buying new materials and keep it in my kiosk and also I want to add a second hand sewing machine .

Loan Proposal

Thank you so much for giving me this another chance of loan application. I will use this loan to buy new cloth materials and add it to my shop. I have a small stock and I wish to add it using Zidisha loan. I will use this loan to add also shoes, and due to this April holiday I hope for the best that my business will pick up for the better.
I will not make use of the whole amount on buying new cloth materials and shoes but also I will set aside a little amount so that I will be marketing my business especially to the students at pwani university.
