My Business

Creating a Mental Health application Project

I'm a technology leader working on developing African centered technologies.
We are developing a new video conferencing platform tailored for African market.
I'm also into Al and natural language processing whereas we are developing models to enable the translation of indigenous African languages.
Currently I have a number of projects including developing a mental health application which will enable users have access to culturally sensitive mental healthcare and be part of a community which cares about them.
There is no robust mental health community which brings together Black mental health professionals from all over the world and Black Mental Health Matters is working towards filling this gap.
All our projects are volunteer driven as the organization doesn't have any sponsors yet.
I believe that through your support we will be able to build a virtual mental health clinic for people in Africa and in the diaspora to have resources to better manage their mental health.
Our goal is to provide a virtual environment where healing is encouraged and mental health is the first priority.
With your support we will achieve this for greater common good of humanity struggling with the stigma which comes with mental health.

Project Proposal

Dear friends,

As we all know, mental health is an essential part of our overall wellbeing. However, for far too long, the Black community has been overlooked and underserved in the mental health space. We need to change that, and that's where Black Mental Health Matters comes in.

Black Mental Health Matters is an application designed to provide support and resources specifically tailored to the Black community's mental health needs. This app will offer a safe space for Black communities to connect with licensed professionals, find culturally competent resources, and receive tools and techniques to help manage their mental health.

Unfortunately, the reality is that mental health services can be costly, and not everyone has access to the resources they need. That's why we need your help to make Black Mental Health Matters a reality. By contributing to our fundraising campaign, you'll be supporting a critical initiative that will help improve the mental health and wellbeing of underserved Black communities in America and throughout the globe.

Your donation will go towards developing and launching the app, expanding access to mental health resources, and providing support for those who need it most. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of Black individuals and communities.

So please, consider making a contribution today. Every donation counts and will help us reach our goal. Thank you for your support and dedication to improving mental health outcomes for Black individuals.

Sincerely,
Daniel Mwambonu

Please don’t forget spiritual health is part of mental health… not to be forced upon anyone however. But Jesus/ Yeshua is the great healer and yet even when He doesn’t heal physically or mentally He is a spiritual healer and brings the peace that passes understanding.
