I was born into a family of 10 siblings. My father was a farmer and my mother was a housewife. We grew up in rural Western Kenya and our parents who were farmers did their best to educate us with proceeds from the farm which we sold as children at the market.School was about 30 kilometres away and we walked daily to school unless we had fees arrears, then we would look for menial chores to do in order to raise the fee balances that we owed the school. My parents worked hard and got each of us through primary and secondary schools and i eventually started out selling second hand clothes for close to 5 years after my secondary education. In secondary i passed but did not to make it to college.
Currently I own a car washing business where I have employed 2 young men. I am glad that apart from earning an extra income from the car wash business, I have also employed 3 youths who would be unemployed thus wasting away. Car wash services are in much need because there are so many cars being bought and also when you provide high quality services, clients will flock your place. I decided to start this business since it requires less capital and chances of making losses are very minimal. On average we wash between 15 to 20 cars, thus making an income of about Ks. 30,000 (About US$400 dollars) I use the profits to expand the business and also paying university fees for my younger sister. If I get the loan, I want to expand the business by buying Car vacuum cleaners, buffing machines and an extra car wash machine
I will buy a new buffing merchine to increase workload on my carwash site . these will include 2 usd for transport, 5 USD , for the technitian who will have to Has to Do the installation. Maintance Job at the site will atleast cost 3 usd . these is because there are afew other merchines that are out of service . Then the remaining I will Buy the merchine . and also I will create a shade for my car wash .
